Quickstep Performance
Dear All,
Last night 7th june 2009, quickstep performed 3 sequences at the edfs show.
The first one was superbly choreographed sequence by jiggy for beginners level salsa. There were lots of turns and fancy combinations. Each guy danced with 2 girls and used lovely drips and styling steps and shines to show off their newly learnt skill.
The next to follow was the latin ballroom sequence. Absolutely fabulous. Grace, charm, coordination and beauty all came together in one performance. Again choroegraphed by jiggy, it was a very romantic and passionate dance. The 5 couples grooved to the rhythm of the rumba and set the stage on fire
And finally the icing on the cake was the Scintillating Tango performance by Kayomus, Meenakshi and Heenaa - all of them Quickstep Instructors. The credit for the brilliant choreography and execution goes to kayomus - for his efforts and passion. Meenakshi as always took precious time out and dedicated everything to this performance. Heenaa, now in bombay for a short visit had very little time but graced the stage. It was simply fabulous. I would say this was the best performance of the evening. The costumes, props, music and choreography was to watch out for. Kudos to all three of them
All performances were lovely
A big thanks to Jiggy, Kayomus, Meenakshi and Heenaa. Intermediate Quickstep dancers Saket and Kingshuk supported the beginners in the ballroom and salsa sequence.
Three cheers to all of them! Three cheers to Quickstep!

Re: Quickstep Performance
Though I couldn't see the performances.....I definitely know (from whatever little I have seen during our routine salsa sessions) that all of them would have burnt the dance floor to ashes....with their out of the world performances......cheers and kudos to all of them.....and great going quickstep salsa....!!!!

Thank you Anand for the lovely words and also Kayomas and Henaa , without whom this performance wasn't possible. The experience cannot be expressed in words indeed.
