Does 'later' mean 'NO'?
Guys (and maybe gals) . It often happens (especially to me !) that you ask someone 4 a dance and he/she says something like ..later , im tired or hungry or whatever.
Id really like opininions as to whether its a put down , or do we ask again 'later'.. So this is a poll , as well as an advice thread.

Not always "later" is "No" !
Its not easy for a girl to dance continuosuly for hours in those High heels, so at times the "later" is genuine one

when is later no
Very Good Question Samird,
About 8 out of 10 times "later" is "no"..
its very easy to find out though, if the "later" was really a "later".. cause if the girl really was tired/hungry/sleepy/feet hurt and it was NOT a turn-down then she would remember that she sent you back then and it is her responsibility to come back and ask you when she felt better. if she doesnt come and ask you, get the message. remember no matter how many guys ask a girl, a girl always knows who all have asked her, who all she said yes to and who all she refused. its a "radar" thing.
Sorry girls i would never ask a girl again in my LIFE again if she turned me down unless she would come back. Its not ego. its just that i want to make sure im not coming in her face. if im not she should tell me that. and the only way to tell me that is to come and ask me.
Imagine yourself going to the same girl again and she refusing again.
Girls can refuse and its perfectly ok. As a guy you have the prerogative to refuse too. Go ahead. Say no when u dont feel like it
anand

Re: Does 'later' mean 'NO'?
One other thing that i could suggest is that if the girl refuses, tell her to come back to you when she feels like it. If she doesnt come back get the message. That is definitely "trapping" the girl to come back to you should she have any regard for you.
Some girls i know, say no, just for the heck of it, cause they want to be "pursued" and seem important. But telling her to come back to you when she feels better is telling her that you wont ask her again if you dont see her interested too. Its a way to not come in the girls way at the same time maintaining your self respect ..... i think

Re: Does 'later' mean 'NO'?
Thats a masterly reply , Anand.
And , as my salsa guru , u wud be happy to know that no one said 'later' to me this sunday ...and no 'no' either ,hehe.
Im surprised no one else has added their 2 bits on this thread... embarassment ? guilt ??
