Practice

Its a real 'high' to attend class , as the move unfolds .... and finally its all put together and set to music ... but only in the last 10 mins After that , its just .. go home , and wait for the next class
But what I basically feel the need for is :practice! cos unless u do that its just one move at atime , and then its forgotten in a few weeks !. So what happens to continuity , and being able to dance to one full song without stopping?
The salsa nights are cool (tho not really happening now) . But they may be too daunting for newcomers with less confidence. what we really need is some stressless practise sessions! But HOW???

Well, What Iam doing , everyday I practice at home, iamgining a partner , put the salsa music on and practice.

While doing Combinations, I think we have to practice the step done in last class minmum twice so that we do not forget the steps, before moving to the next comb.

buddy , your enthusiasm is laudable ... but without a partner there is no way of knowing how the combo flows ... you might as well just close your eyes and imagine!

Thats is the way to practice combos, close your eyes, imagine a pardner, and program it mentally and practice your steps..
