Salsa MuZIc at Rio

Dear Anand,

Party at Rio was fabulous, i had enjoyed a lot and m sure every one did.

A big Thanks from every one whom i know from Quick step and was their.

MuZIc wat you had played at RIO is pretty good, Precisely its cool.

But Anand, we need more of fast tracks , to pull more & more people on the Floor.

The MuZIc should be tempting enough to pull all the salsa lovers on the floor.

I think that was missing in the party, ( I feel like ), as i dont know much about the forms of salsa MuZIc .

That's ma personal observation.

People, pls light up this thread with your personal preferences / experiences / your request's.

I personally think this party went well.....there was good crowd...n better dancing seen...
but the music was surely disappointing

we had shakira's hips dont lie n some other songs, played like umpteen number of times....i'm sure there r many more songs....equally catchy n danceable....

the songs could be mixed in a good way to keep the crowd on the toes....play some soft songs when the floor is full....... n some racy numbers (like shakira's song, but pls dont repeat), when the floor is empty, to get the crowd back on the floor

i would also like if they can play some rock n roll/ballroom numbers...i myself dont know to dance any of these dance forms....but a different music cud be refreshing

comments / suggestions from others are welcome.....lets make rios a better dancing experience

Anand..next time make sure u dont go out of the DJ's sight as when he sees you around, the kinda music he plays just changes (u know what i mean)...n may be even do a bit of DJ'ing yourself (just a thought)...n ya , i agree this time a lot of tracks were repeated which wasn't really required...im confident u have enuf music to keep the nite going till even much later hours !!

we could have some bachata / Rock n Roll tracks too, to add more forms of dance in Nite

v shud also hav sum club sngs so dat v cn also try sumthng else othr thn partner dances.

i dont think Amans suggestion is good .. a salsa nite must be a Latin night ... if u want club music , go to a club!
