Patterns of Combinations

Post  anshuk on Mon Oct 13, 2008 1:26 am

This poll is directed at leaders, but I would like followers to chip in with their opinions as well. When dancing socially, do you follow a general pattern of moves and combinations to make transitions smoother and to not have to think too hard to select the next move?

Re: Patterns of Combinations

earlier i used to only dance some few fixed combinations that i have taught so many times that im better at it than others.. but then i started trying out new stuff too.. i think overall on the floor i try 50% of "safe" stuff and 50% experimentative stuff.. also depends on the level of the partner too..

i am still on the lookout of a good on 2 partner
